Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1

Unedited poster (Look at the date!)

If AVATAR and King Kong can be a 3-hour long film, why couldn’t Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows be a movie that is longer than 3 hours?

Having to wait is something I detest when things get exciting.

Loving the casts and books do not necessarily mean that I’ll be in love with this movie. It seems that, as they grow older, everything becomes more artificial. Their acting, if you do not get what I mean. Not just the main characters, it kinda spread to the rest.

Movie is nothing compared to the novel. Reality is harsh.

Catching the very first show of the day at 10 am, rushing to school for lectures once the movie ended was harsher for me. But I looked and was really slim that day. =)

    • In the first few movies, the trio was young, so it’s acceptable that they act like the characters in the book in terms of manner of speech, actions etc. Now that they have grown over the years, it makes it worse. There’s the shell, but not the soul. Acting shouldn’t be like this.
The movie reminded me of the thriller, Frozen, though. 2 guys and a girl, having conversations throughout the film. However, the difference is, I prefer the HP trio talking, since they are the ones whom I liked as a kid.
      Cheers!
